During reading this week we have been studying figurative language. So far we have discussed, similes, metaphors, personification and idioms. Next we will take a look at onomatopoeia and alliteration. We will be having a quiz over this material on Thursday. Students have a flip chart to study from. This is a great lead into our poetry unit we will begin in January!
